There are many places to purchase dance wear and supplies. Stores like Target and Walmart carry a limited selection of dance wear at cheap prices. Walmart carries many lower-end Danskin items. What is available at Target varies greatly depending on when you're in there, but they usually carry leggings at all times of the year.

In addition, they have staff members who are very knowledgable about fitting dance shoes for children. USED SUPPLIES: For those of you on a tight budget, don't forget that when your kids are growing quickly that used items might be the best investment... especially when it comes to dance shoes. You can frequently find used tap shoes in good shape if you do a little looking/asking around, and you never know when you might find other shoes in good shape either... Try checking on-line resources such as Craig's list or even ask parents of other students if they have anything or know of anyone with items available.
